It is the most ancient and important remain of the farm.
In the past, the light entered through some small windows and doors which were the only sources of light for the stable. In the stable there was not electricity and these windows and doors were very important.
Over the stairs there was the big hayloft with a tile roof.

The farmer who took care of the animals was called “bergamino”; he was in charge of everything: feeding the animals, milking the cows and cleaning the stable and, for this reason, he used to sleep in the room.

In the stable were exhibited some objects used by the “bergamino” to feed the animals and take care of them.
Near the stables there were the pigsties and the hen-houses
