This interactive exhibition was organized by some classes of the Aselli Scientific High School and it will involve the same students as workshops’ leaders during the trials. This event is included in the celebrations for the 100 years of the Aselli High School.

The participants will discover how, starting from the principle of sounds’ generation from the vibration of the elastic bodies, the handicraft men and the musicians generated specific acoustic characteristics in the music instruments’ making and practice.

Experimenting the reception, the transmission and the reproduction of the sound signals. The sound must travel to reach the listener who will translate the vibrations of his/her tympanum in feelings and emotions. The composer, on the contrary, translates the emotional and sensory stimulus in music and, for this reason, it must communicate with the musicians who will play that music. For this reason, it is necessary to write the music (connected to geometry).

The exhibition will include also some aspects of music theory: interludes and ratio of the numbers, musical scales and chords, perception of the listener.

The exhibition is destined to the school groups (with reservation) and to the citizens.
